Residential Care

Within the Care Home we operate a Key Worker system, where each resident is allocated their own Key Worker. A senior member of staff supervises all Key Workers. The Key Worker will be responsible for assessing each person's needs, preparing their Care Plan with them and explaining the delivery and evaluation of the care to be provided. If residents have any issues whatsoever they should speak to their Key Worker regarding their concerns.

Care Reviews

Regular reviews of each resident's health and care needs ensure that all care is tailored to meet individual requirements. Care Plans are reviewed one month, six months and a year from the time of admission to North Argyll House.

Residents, their relatives, staff from Social Work Department and their Key Worker are invited for the purpose of ensuring that their care needs are being met.

Should care needs change or if there are any issues which need to be addressed, a review can be undertaken at any time.

Assessments are an ongoing process and are reviewed every six months when a full assessment is carried out. A record is kept of all assessments and reviews with a full copy being supplied to the resident.
